Default Selling SU current stuff on Ebay, doesn't that break a rule?

I'm not a demo for SU or any company but I've seen SU's current products for auction on Ebay.

At one point, I saw listings for summer mini catalog items before customers could buy them, which gave me the impression that the seller was a demo.

Are demos allowed to sell current products on Ebay? Or is it just difficult to enforce?

It's completely against the demo agreement, and very difficult to enforce. Trust me, many of us here have been reporting these auctions right and left, and a month or two ago finally got some small satisfaction when one seller was shut down. Another one whose demoship was pulled was an SCS member. Haven't seen much of her lately, but she tried to get us to believe she never had been a demo and her auctions and membership had been canceled unfairly. Of course, several demos remembered her being a member of the demos-only forum and it also still appeared in her profile.

About every month or so there's a long, heated thread complaining about eBay sellers that violate SU! policy. Some of them are also violating eBay policy, but only the ones who manipulate searches by including the phrase "not SU!" in their auction titles to get more hits from those looking for SU! product, and the ones selling current catalogs.

Thanks.

I bought some ink refills from Ebay and I learned my lesson b/c the person sent the wrong set. Now I have two identical ink refill sets and the seller is not responding. We were moving and I'm pretty new to the SU products.

Is it okay if I sell the ink refill set on Ebay? The set includes some of the retired colors. Or will I get in trouble? I've never sold anything on Ebay and don't want to get in trouble with anyone. As I said in the previous post, I'm not a demonstrator.

Would I have better luck in the For Sale/Trade section of this site? I have a lot of items on my "wish list" current and retired stamp sets but I'd prefer to "get rid" of the entire set of ink refills instead of trading/selling them piece-meal.

YOU can sell them on ebay....but a SU Demonstrator cannot...it is against company policy. I would try posting them here as well.....someone might be interested in them.

I'm with Tammy -- offer the entire reinker set in trade for one of the stamp sets on your wish list! You're much more likely to get what it's worth here than on eBay.
