I hope I do this correctly... A few folks asked me for a template for the modified version of the Notecube holder featured in Papercrafts this issue. I made mine fit a 2.75" sqare notecube from www.stamponthis.com.
And this is the template (crossing my fingers that this works - my first template and first pdf). EDIT - Fold at 3" from the top and cut off the flaps at 5" from the top. I somehow deleted this from the template.
Thank you for posting this. I have a few gifts that I wanted to make plus my family never keeps any pads of paper by the phone and this one would look so pretty sitting on the desk. I can't wait to give it a try! Andrea
I don't know why, but when I click on the link it opens a blank page. Is there any way you can email me the file so I can have the directions on how to make this lovely note cube holder?
Glad this template is helping - I needed something easier & smaller than the one in Papercrafts. Kathynruss - if your cubes aren't the 2.75" size, you might want to take a piece of printer paper and fold it around the cube to get the approx measurements. Or even better - a piece of "cheap" cardstock.
Thanks so much, Sandi. I printed your template and then your two little additional hints and added them to the template. For the above ladies who put their e-mail addresses in the thread, they should read: Forums at Splitcoaststampers. For example, if I want to put my e-mail in a thread, I do it like this: kathynrussatserverdotcom. Spammers don't recognize it as an e-mail address without the @ or the "."
Also, if you can't open a link, just right click on the link, click on "save to target", tell it where you want it saved, and do it. Then you can go open it outside of SCS and it mostly works. HTH

OMG, Kathy had a thought. Stand back! The cubes are hard to find except online and the ones I got from stamponthis.com weren't all that cheap. Only could afford 2 and I wanted about 6. At Viking or Staples, wherever, a pack of 2" square post-its is cheaper. I'm going to get a couple packs, carefully peel the bottom page off about 3 of them, maybe 4, depending on how high the stack gets, carefully line them up and press them together into a cube! Post-it does make cubes, but they're way expensive. With this nifty little holder, it won't show if your stack isn't perfect all around, and it will hold the stacks together better than having them flop around. Way coo-uhl, eh? I'll try not to hurt myself patting myself on the back!

What an AWESOME idea. So often you can find the post-it type notes at really good prices. I may even check out Costco when I head over there today.
I am a little confused. The length is 10 3/4 but what is the width of the pattern. Do you score at 1 1/8, 4, 6 7/8, and 9 5/8? Also where is the bottum score measurement. I really wan to make this note holder but I'm just not getting it. I hope someone can help me. PLEASE!
Lahendry - I just sent a PM. But for anyone else confused, here's what I sent - this is for the main section (not the back insert).
Saw your note on the notecube holder. Unfortunately when I converted to pdf, some of the measurements "disappeared". The paper itself is 10 3/4" x 5". Score the long side at 1 1/8", 4", 6 7/8", and 9 5/8". Score along the short direction at 3". Fold it all inward (valley folds).
To all that are looking for cheaper cubes....Check your $1 stores. I found some white cubes at Just a Buck and some Almost Amethyst colored cubes at Big Lots for $1 each...
