This is a new thread with all the details for the shoebox swap originally advertised under Hey Illinoisians II to be located in Mahomet. I was hesitant in securing the site in Mahomet because of the air condition and didn't want you to get too hot so we have moved this event to Champaign at the Hawthorn Suites Hotel and Convention Center.
Not only are we doing the shoebox swap but we are having catered a nice luncheon so you don't have to go to any trouble making refreshments. All you need to do is show up, bring your shoebox supplies, and enjoy the day stamping with others who love the art of rubber stamping.
The swap will consist of full size cards and/or projects. We would like if possible to see a lot of the new stamp sets out of the new catalog and the new colors but of course all things are acceptable. If you are not using SU products please purchase like quality items.
I cannot tell you how excited we are to be planning this event for you. Amanda (Faryprincess), Danita (Moberkitty), Sherla (Sherla), AllyB1967 (Alice) and I hope that you will be able to join us on August 13 from 10 - 4.

There was another lady interested from Lincoln so maybe she would like to carpool too. If you want me to contact her until she goes public here I could do so for you Sue. It is always fun to hang out together with the girls...

Sorry, I misread her other post. She was 2 hours from Lincoln, not sure which direction but I for sure will send people your way if they are close to Lincoln. Thanks for the advertisement on the signature line, great idea.

Looks like we have 13 so far (including the committee) and we'll limit it to 30 all together. We want to have time to get everyone's shoeboxes done after all!!
