Default scratch and sniff

Can anyone tell me where I can find how to make the scratch and sniff cards? I saw all these awesome cards and I have to make them now.

Thanks so much!

I believe it was in the nov issue of paper crafts. But basically you can add cool aid to ep. And emboss as usual. You can use coffee too but you have to use the bigger particle ep. Hope that helps, I'll double check the article but it is current.

and I think it's supposed to be sugar free kool-aid.
Or did I just dream that up?
(Can you tell I haven't actually tried doing this yet!?)

That's correct. It has to be sugar-free or it'll burn. And don't limit yourself to that drink mix! You can also use ground coffee, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon...my mouth is watering!

Just mix it with your clear EP!

Let us know how it turns out.

Do you mean Sugar Free Kool-Aid (which has nutra-sweet in it) or the plain Kool-Aid packets without adding sugar?

I'm pretty sure it's the plain ones that you add sugar to...the skinny, cheap packets.

I read in the magazine that it had to be sugar free or it would carmelize once you applied heat to it. Unless the sugar substitute also carmelizes, get the plain Koolaid, but make sure it "smells" yummy or else whats the point? Nothing in the article itself said it was ok/not ok to use the artificially sweetened kind.

HTH,
