Does anyone know how to reverse emboss? The sample I have a picture of is on white cardstock. It looks like it has been inked and then stamped with inked images. In addition, some of the images were embossed, heated (somehow,) and the embossing removed to create a "bleached" look.

I'm not sure how they did what you are explaining without seeing a picture but, Reverse embossing is when you stamp an image with a clear ink such as versamark and apply clear embossing powder. Heat the image. You would then use a sponge or dauber and apply ink or chalk over the image in whatever color you choose. The embossed image will resist the ink or chalk and will let whatever color paper you stamped on (say white) show through. It's really easy and gives a great look. Good luck!
To do the reverse embossing I did the above with the clear embossing powder. Then apply your ink over it. Then take a plain white piece of paper and put it on top. Then iron the paper and it removes the clear embossing. Now, you can do this in different steps and re-ink over parts that you have removed with the iron. It's really cool!
