The rules:Choose a child(same sex or opposite, same age or different, whatever you child would like.), PM or email said child's parent for address, send card. Please choose & send at least 1 card per month. If there is an asterisk(*) beside a child's information, that child would like to exchange with other children (both children make & send cards to each other). You are encouraged to reciprocate(good lesson for the kids). This means the more RAK's you send, the more your children will recieve. I will also list birthdays, please BRAK! If your child does not recieve a RAK for over a month, please PM me I'll try to get one out right away. Most of all PLAY FAIR! This is for our kids, let's teach them the joy of suprising others!
Now, in order that they posted&/or PMed me- the list. Mom's SCS name/Child's name/age/sex/birthdate/* or no*
If your child's information is incomplete, please PM me to fill it in. If you would like to take a break or stop, also please pm me. Thanks!

Hi...Just trying to "get" this.
Once a month pick a childs name PM parent to get mail addy. Do we change each month to a new child? Or when we pick, that's it we stick with that child for a while???

This is such a great idea! My four year old son loves getting mail and would really enjoy this. I also have a two year old. Here is their info...and I'm still kinda confused on how to pick one or get paired up. Thanks!

I put my daughter on the kids rak list. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to pm anyone. I was searching lists of members, but couldn't figure it out. Help! Thanks to anyone who will take pity or start me off.
We choose dawnmercedes 2 children for our family for now. I received a pm from stampinginsc to say she had choosen my daughter. My son is still available though!!!!

Just a little update My 3 kids LOVE to make their own cards, they will RAK anyone who wants to.
They are on the list but I wanted to be sure that you all know that they want to make the cards that they will send out.

Hi. I would love to have my girls do this as well. I have 3. Anyone interested in taking their names? I'll need three for us to have as well....Let me know if no one has chosen your child yet.
Bailey sent out her first card Saturday. She was so excited to do this! Now, everyday (including Sunday when there is no mail) she is checking the mailbox for her mail! LOL....she is so darn cute! Thanks for starting this!
Jodi- I just sent you a pm back....she is raking Molly right now, I am not sure if we can RAK more than one or not, but now that I am thinking about it, after I pm'd you, should probably pair those up first that havn't been paired up yet. Sorry for the confusion.

Please explain... I thought that our child was supposed to pick a name off of the list, I'd PM the parent to get the address, and then that was that. It sounds like some people are "pairing up". I was thinking this was working just like the adult RAK forum. :confused:
Please clarify! My boys sent out RAKs to sisters on Monday. I PMd mom for their address. Does this mean we continue to RAK these two girls or can they pick someone else next time? :confused:
And am I supposed to let someone know that we RAKd these girls?
I understand your confusion...What we did (not sure if this is right, just how we are doing it) is chose some one to send a card to and pm'd to get the address. We will probably do a return RAK. I don't think we are paired up to exchange exclusively. Someone different chose my kids. Does this make sense? It would be nice if it was posted when someone was chosen or received a RAK so that we can make sure no one is left out!!!

I wouldn't be opposed to having the listing with addresses, just like the adult RAK forum, and requiring membership. Anyone else? Then we could print the entire list from Excel or whatever and have all addresses on-hand.
If we decided to list addresses, someone else would have to take over. My computer would have a brain-freeze & die if I tried to load Excel on it. (The poor thing is over the hill. It's all of 4 years old:p & has so many games on it the hard-drive is in danger of exploding.)
