I am trying to update the original post (with cards received) to one of my swap threads but it will not let me. What am I doing wrong or is this a glitch?

I am unable to edit my threads either. I need to update the kid's RAK list. Thanks for your help.

we allow unregistered to post in this forum in case non-members have questions, or in case a member is having trouble logging in. this and one other forum are the only ones that we allow non-member posting.

How do we edit our posts? I've looked myself, but can't figure it out!

I see we can edit in some forums and not in others? Correct?

Default edit thread?

How do you edit the first post of a thread? Like in the swaps, how do I change from open to closed?

Default Editing original post???

Hi,

I'm stumped as to how I can edit my post. I'm hosting a swap and want to update the info in my original post. I used to click the edit button but haven't figured out how to do it with the new set-up, which, by the way is super!

Any info you can provide would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Carolyn

I hope this helps, I see an Edit button on the bottom of every post I make in threads. Do you see this Edit button? For me it is on the bottom right of each of my posts, to the left of the Quote button.

Thankyou for working on solving the issues with the EDITING problem. I too am hosting a Swap, but will wait to edit. It was easy to search to find my answer RIGHT HERE!

Jenn - thanks for directing me to this thread! I need to edit the Original Post in the Christmas Card Challenge each time a new person wants to join. I understand you are working on this issue...just wanted you to know in case only selected forums get the edit option.

Ok - someone just told me that we could edit some posts (not the new ones - for 15 minutes - but the older ones). Has that been fixed yet? And if so, who can edit - only the author of the thread?

She said there was a whole thread about it here, but I haven't seen it yet. Am I just missing it?
Thanks!
