Default Make your own technique book

I know there has been a lot of talk about technique books.
After a lot of thought of what format I wanted to do my technique book in I desided that I wanted to do them trading card format.

I am turning all the techniques I find in to a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 format.

This way I can either stamp the sample tech on the front of the TC and put the directions on the back and store in baseball card folders

or

I can make a sample TC and a direction TC put them side by side on a 4x6 mat and store in a standard photo album. (I've attached a how to make handout for this style)

I've also attached the first 10 tech I've put in this format. All these tech use versa mark pad.

They take a LOT of work to make. It would cost about 85 cents a page. So to sell a full book the price would be VERY HIGH!! But I do offer the layouts.

I get the little icon also. Is there an answer for us. I can see others are able to view it. Sounds really great. Thanks. Val

Post What about a swap?

I realize this is an older thread.
I was thinking the same thing as Shannon, but I'm sure we all understand the time involved. That made me think.... what about a swap?

Except, I've never run a swap & don't have the time right now.
Yep, I guess that's me, come up with a great idea & wait for someone else to do it... sorry... (I'm not always like that)

Just a suggestion, sounds like a good idea for a swap...

Smile Make your Own Technique Book

Hi Dawnmarie,
This is a terrific Idea! I have been collecting cards that illustrated different techniques. I keep them in a photo album and it is ok for people to browse though, but I love your idea! Now that the site has limited visitation and use, I am not able to download or look at your files. I would love to look at your attached plans and samples. Would it be possible to send them to me at [email protected] ?
Thank you,
Linda Willman

Default Unable to open pdf or save as target

Could someone please e-mail me these two pdf's or instructions. I have tried to open up these pdf's but nothing is coming up. I get a blank screen. I have never had a problem opening up PDF's. I even tried right mouse clicking it and saving it but it just comes up "clear". Pleeeeeease, can someone help me with this? I even have Adobe 7.0 Could that be the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!
