Technique Lovers Challenge 09 - come join us!
This week's technique is Crayon Resist. Please put TLC09 in the keyword section when you upload your creation.
It is really easy to do Crayon Resist. Beate has a tutorial on the resource page for it. You can use either use glossy paper or ultrasmooth white...both give great results, and the look is different depending on which you use.
Here are two I did...both are on ultrasmooth white.

I know you are supposed to make a new one, I'll try as soon as I can, but I am very proud of this one, I just posted it last week. Hope you enjoy! It's pending approval, I added TLC09 in the desc.

Ooooooh. I love crayon resist. I promise to do this one. I still want to try the wax resist but that iron! If I pull it out, I'll feel guilty and then have to make a start on the huge pile in the laundry basket!

Here is this week's card. Crayon resist is so quick and easy. This was fun to make. I love these weekly challenges - they force me to try new techniques.

OK - still catching up - I do love this technique so I had to do another of last week's challenge before I try my hand at Joseph's coat. Another one using Stipple Shells but this time using more 'shell-like' colors!

I CASED a card that JoyofStamping had done previously. I've had this card in my favorites for a while and have been wanting to make it. I think it came out really well (although it didn't take much thought - thanks Joy!!)

My first Soot Stamping Project...It was a lot more fun than I ever thought it would be...I plan to play with this technique more next week. I also combined it with the SC89 for this week. TFL
