This is a pdf file with instructions and templates for making a quarter page size mini album (5 1/2" x 4 1/4"). You will probably need to save the file to your hard disk and open it from there.
To save the file from this website to your hard disk, do the following:
From Mac: right click (if you have a two-button mouse) or hold down the mouse button on the file name (if you have a one-button mouse) until the popup window comes up. Choose "Save target as..." --navigate to where you want to save it, then click OK (or Save, I forget which). Then you can open and print the file from wherever you saved it.
From PC: right click on the file name until the popup window comes up. Choose "Save target as..." --navigate to where you want to save it, then click OK (or Save, I forget which). Then you can open and print the file from wherever you saved it.
I am not able to open the attachment either. When I right click and hit 'save as..' the file is saved as a .gif instead of .pdf and when I try to open it, there is nothing. Would you mind e-mailing the file to me?
When I get home from work I'll try to email the file to those who request it. Meanwhile, please try to rename the file you downloaded to your computer so that it has .pdf instead of .gif or .doc as the extension. Then open Acrobat (or Adobe) Reader, choose Open from the File menu, and browse to where you saved the file, and open it. That should work.
I'm going on vacation shortly, so if I forget to send the file please PM me to remind me.
I tried it the way you just described and it still didn't work. I hope you remember to forward it before you take off for vacation, but if not, just have a GREAT time!! Thank you!!
I believe it is a "site" problem...I had our Information Services Manager check out my computer because I was having problems opening any pdf or Word document off SCS and he checked everything...he said it is a problem with the site. I have reported it to Davon, so hopefully it will be fixed before too long.
Just a quick reminder to all trying to download this template: it will not download just by clicking on the filename. You will have to follow the instructions in my original message for how to download. If you tried all those things and it still won't download, I'm happy to email the file!

Though I can't speak for all Mac users, what I do to download PDF files is just to click on them once. They automatically go to a folder I created called "downloads." From that folder I can drag and drop the file into a new place... stamps, gardening, recipes, church newsletter, etc.
THANK YOU Cyndie for the great template. I have been wondering where to get these instructions. My grandson visited for a week and we got some great photos.
Thank you for sharing this idea. My daughter is graduating next May and this might be just the thing to share with her classmates as a graduation gift. I'm thinking of adding quotes to different pages, and leaving spaces for girls to autograph, leave e-mail addresses, college choices, etc. (I'd probably make the insides all the same since there are 60 of them to do!) Beautiful album in your example.
