It is a PARTY! Consider yourself INVITED to the hottest stamp party in town! EVERY town, that is!
Virtual Stamp Night will be hosted by Emily and I!
When is it? SATURDAY, MAY 14th!!!!!!!! 6-12 midnight CENTRAL time zone!
What is it? An all-evening-into-the-morning stampathon of creativity and madness!
Why would you want to participate? Hello! It will be FUN! And there will be prizes and crazy fun stuffs galore!
What should you bring? Yourself! A scanner or digital camera would super-beneficial so you can share your awesome creations! We might need to pay Jenn and Beate a special RAKATHON visit in advance so they can plan on exercising their super-mod fingers with speed so we can all enjoy the creations as they are made! BYOB! That's beer or beverage or booze or banana bread, whatever you prefer!
We will post half-hourly challenges... if you'd like to donate a prize to the Virtual Stamp Night prize pool, you can mail it to me! *PLEASE KEEP THEM SMALL so they fit in a standard card envelope! Then shipping is not an issue!! Ideas include mini brads, buttons, fibers, ribbons, eyelets, etc...*

Okay, Emily and I will pow-wow and get back with dates!
This is will be super fun! I promise! If you are willing to be a "Hostess with the Mostest" please PM me (time requirement: approximately 15 minutes! financial commitment: $0 fun fun requirement: oodles!)
I want to play. Do the donations have to be all SU ? Does Jenn and Beate drink Mt Dew, we could send some Pizza and pop funds to help keep them going, lol Also, I don't know how to post links in forums, is that where we would post our creations?
Thanks Beth, I have uploaded cards but did not know how to get links into forums, so lets see if I can do this right. I think I will add my mamaK inspired card, tee hee Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
admin note: gallery links can be trimmed of everything after the "photo=xxxxx" part. I've trimmed the above as an example.

Reason: adding a note about gallery links
I don't have a scanner or camera but I will send you goodies and participate online for the fun. I will stamp too but can't share, sorry. I could mail them to you I guess. But I will send you some goodies posthaste.

1. Organize one stamp challenge!
2. Pick winners of the stamp challenge. Closer to the date, depending on the number of prizes, I will tell you how many winners you should choose. Ideas for winners would be the first to post a card on the challenge, the cutest card, the most creative interpretation to the challenge, etc.. It will be up to you to pick your winners (and your categories)
3. Post the challenge at the designated time (tba) on the designated date (tba).
4. PM me well in advance with your challenge so I can make sure none of the challenges "overlap" (i.e. we wouldn't want to have two challenges be the same!)
Challenges should be easily accessible to all. What that means is... it shouldn't be dependent on owning a stamp set or accessory that not everyone would have. Items we will consider "available to all" would be: hemp, cord, ribbon, brads, eyelets, staples, buttons, brayer, embossing powder.
So, example time....
Challenge #1: Make a card using a button.
Perfect! This challenge is simple, to the point, and almost anyone has a button sitting around.
Challenge #2: Make a card using a zipper and Shapes and Shadows.
Sorry! Not a good one! Not everyone has a zipper sittin' around and not everyone owns every stamp set.
Get as creative and out of the box as you want on these, I would love to see some really fun things. Also, your themes could be "Make a card that makes you think of summer" or something, instead of the "use X item" route.
It will start at 6 p.m. Central time and end at 12 midnight PACIFIC time! However, some of us may have to leave that super late-night chit chat to all of you crazy West Coasters! Cause we need our beauty sleep for church!
Think I'll be away that weekend, but if I'm home, I'll try to stay up as long as I can...EDT here (I need PLENTY of beauty sleep for church - embarrassing falling asleep in the middle of a sermon too!)

Yeah, It will not be an all nighter because we have church in the am too. But I have a workshop on Friday night so Saturday it is...otherwise we had to push it off until June **gasp** and we didn't want that!
I'll try to play...that is prom night for DS #2.....with a gaggle of kiddos coming back around 2am for breakfast.....do you think they would appreciate handstamped napkins??? ;)
I'll send in some prizes and I'd possibly be willing to hostess - I have to see how the schedule with pics, etc. works out.....
This sounds like such an awesome idea! How do you and Emily think up such great things? I'd love to play along but I'm not sure if I'll be on bedrest by then as I was for my last pregnancy so I really can't commit. Will definitely be watching the fun if at all possible.
