Two Avatars? Check here for a solution!

I have two different avatars for some reason. I have the original one in the gallery and the new one in forums. Any reason why? What did I do wrong, or what do I need to do right to make the new one work everywhere?

hmm, so you have a new avatar here, but the gallery only sees the old one? please confirm, and if so we'll need to look at it and fix that.

Yes, I have 2 avatars! One in the gallery and a different one in the forums.
the one in the gallery is the old one I would like to get rid of. The daisy in the forums is the one I want to keep! Thanks for your help!

Mine is still messed up too. I am "Catie" in the gallery and my "vegas Sign" in my profile and forums.


I logged off, deleted cookies, logged back in, still Catie

Just so you know, when my DD looks at my avatar in the gallery under her login, it appears to be the daisy, which is what it should be. When I look at my avatar in the gallery under my login, it is the old one.

Yep, mine too. On my computer I have the wrong Avatar, everyone else is seeing the correct one. I just verified it with some other folkes. It is messing with my mind!

Mine is doing the same thing. I have the right one here but the wrong one in the galleries. I do believe that other people can see the right one (the flower picture) in the galleries, though. This was driving me crazy. I kept redoing it and redoing it...

I have noticed while posting that I have two different avatars being posted with my name. On my posts in the forums, my avatar of my youngest son is there. On my posts to the gallery pics, my other avatar of Kenny Chesney is there. I've gone to "quick links" while in both areas, and clicked onto edit profile, edit avatar and such. It shows my newest one of my son both places. Any suggestions?

This is weird. I've had the same avatar for a week or so. Just now I posted a comment on Jenn's Fairy card in the gallery and my old glamour photo is showing as my avatar on the comment. I checked my profile and it shows the correct pic and I checked a recent forum post and it shows the correct pic. I've checked back and forth several times. Weird!!!!!!

This has been happening to alot of people. I don't think I have ever heard the solution to it though. I just know you aren't alone.

Count me in on this! Freaked me out today when I made a comment in the gallery and my Big Hair Glamour avatar came up out of nowhere!

I had the same problem just minutes ago when I changed my avatar. But then I went and deleted my temporary internet files and cookies and that seemed to do the trick . My new avatar is now showing up for me in the gallery.

You are so right! Delete all the files and VOILA! Everything is fixed. Thanks!

IT'S FIXED!!Delete cookies and temp internet files and clear history, then log in again and everything works!
