** VSN 05/05 ** 6:30 challenge- try a new technique!
I got confused with the time difference so I don't know if this is early, or late, but here's your challenge!
Please remember to put "VSN6:30" in the Keywords section.
Here's the challenge: "try a "new" technique!"
For this challenge, you need to post a card (or stamped object) using a technique that's new to you!
this is your chance to try that technique you've been meaning to try! this is just to get you all to streatch your wings a little!
if you don't know any new techniques go to this link, Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
and check out all the great tutorials on there, or look around in the techniques forum for an idea. there's just soooo much out there to do with stamps! I can't wait to see your work!
remember to post a link here so we can all check out your stuff
happy stamping!
I know exactly which technique I will try! Now if only I could figure out the stamp set and all!

I'm kind of doing the shaving cream technique, but I don't have reinkers. I'm playing around to see what I can do with what I have. Will post later as it will need to dry.

Ok, this is ToTally cheating, but I did this the other day..I had been wanting to try this technique for awhile and whipped this out in just a few minutes... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
now, to use margarita salt for its intended purpose...
WOW I will have to post something later for this one. All the techniques I want to try will take a loooooooooong time for me to figure out. Can't wait to see what happens next...
I had to do this for my upline meeting today so as I did it last night I felt safe to enter it. I didn't have the kid set so I used the cat from Have a Heart. My son teased about gumdrops, one of not favorite anymore candies, covered in cat hair.
The instructions for this card are at: http://cgaspard.stampinup.net/Welcome.aspx
Cathie did this card at Leadership in St. Louis.
This was my rough draft so I will post any new stamp sets I use with this.
O.k. I didn't have some of the stuff I needed for the drunken chalks so I did a variation of it. Sorry if it isn't what you asked for!
Sorry this card got booted! I have to try uploading it again. Will post new link as soon as I can.

I have been wanting to do postage stamps for a while but just never took the time to do it... had the scissors too! I had to improvise and use the plastic from a slide in avery type page proctector because I don't have a window sheet.

This one done...still running 15 minutes behind... Foxi Oxi. Been wanting to try this for a long time. I dried it with the heat gun and I think that accelerated the effect a little
Daughter said it "looked like rain" so that's where the umbrella came from!
