This was to much fun! I will post comments when it is late at night and the gallery isn't so busy. But for now, here is my first ever pocket card. I am gonna have to do more. This was too fun! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here's my attempt at a pocketcard. I combined it with the color challenge this week. I'm not sure I like the card, guess I'll just have to try again later!
Here is my pocket card. I just started these fun cards last month (thanks June SS). I was at my mom's today and borrowed her Cool Cat for this one. Enjoy!
Hi
I know this is already in my gallery but I am away from home (NH) in California with no access to my stampin' supplies or scanner--yikes! I do have this one in my gallery so you can see it. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I made one pocket card several months ago and it turned out horribly... I think it traumatized me so I never tried again. Thanks, Andrea, for challenging me to give it another shot... was much happier with this one! I think I'll make more!

Wow - this is more like a technique challenge!! (that's OK coz I don't yet have any fun foam). I made my first pocket card ever - yippee - it was fun (and challenging).
This card combines SC26 & CC15:
Here's my card, Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
This is a fun project. I will make more pocket cards as they are so unique. This one is for my son living in a college dorm and missing his dog here at home. I cropped a photo to fit in the pocket, now he has something to decorate his bulletin board in the room. Deb

Since I won't be able to whip up a new card because I will be away until Monday, I figured I would insert a couple I have done in the past couple of weeks!
Hope you like them! BTW girls: all of your pockets have been amazing! You are each so talented! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas!
Andrea - love the comments portion of the challenge! I haven't been leaving as many comments as usualy lately because unless I wait till after 11pm it seems my open windows just sit stuck forever! I hate that! Love making comments - so I'll make a real concerted effort this week.
Can't wait to go look at what everyone has done so far!
Wow, so many great cards already! Can't wait to do a couple tomorrow. I just replied to 37 out of the 39 approved so far and boy is my arm killing me! Wish I could manage the mouse with the left hand--I might get twice as many comments made!
Jamigirl, if you're still reading the thread, I think you need to rename and re-upload your cards to the gallery--try putting your user name in your computer file name. If it has the same file name as something already uploaded yours will be lost when they scan for duplicates, as seems to be the case. ;)

Some tips on commenting (in case you didn't know) You can right click on the link and "open in new window" After you make your comment, you do not need to wait for the page to fully load. After you click "submit" give it a second and then you can close your window. Your comment is already registered. I have found it is much quicker than click back and forth between screens. I usually have 2 or 3 screens open at a time these days and have been known to end up with 7 or 8 when I get lost in the galleries!

Thanks for this tip, Michelle. Learn something new everyday!

I don't really stamp much. I'm just here for the company.
Okay, I got mine done. I haven't seen any of the others so I have to go look which means everyone should get out of the gallery now so it'll go faster for me! LOL!!! This was my very first pocket card, EVER! My Pocket Card
I cut the paper in half 11 1/2 long, and folded it in half, then scored about 1 1/2 inches from the top instead of side to side because I wanted the school colors in the background down the sides. What a fun challenge, I will have to try to make more of these tag cards!!!

Thanks for the tip, Tampersay, I had forgotten about that command when you right click... it would certainly help things along with making comments, sometimes it is just so slow.
Here is my second card. I put it in the Weekly Challenges gallery and couldnt put a discription of what I used. I hope that wasnt the wrong place. I think by looking at it is pretty easy to figure out what I did. I used Garden Blocks and Fine Foliage wheel and made it from some leftovers from an earlier card.

Great tip. One other way is to hold the shift key down while you click on the link with your mouse. I usually come into a thread like this and just spend the first few minutes clicking all the links to the cards. Check other mail while they all load up. Then come back and view each card at my leisure.
You all do GREAT work. Thanks for the inspiration. I'll participate one of these days.. Right now I'm enjoying lurking.
