TLC18 - Please join us!
Please put TLC18 in the keyword section when you upload, and then post a link to your card here in this thread.
If you need help uploading or posting a link to this thread, check out this link:

This week's technique is "DoubleTime" stamping. This is where you stamp up a whole sheet of cardstock first, then cut it up and use it for layers on cards or other items. This is just like the One-Sheet-Wonder or OSW, except that OSW usually refers to using that stamped sheet of cardstock to decorate other items than just cards. We'll save that for other time!
This technique is especially nice for creating a set of cards for a gift. SU!'s two-step stamp sets are well-suited for this technique.
So, this week's challenge is to stamp up at least a quarter sheet of cardstock, and then cut it up and use it to create at least 2 cards. Please post both cards together in the same image.
Here's mine to give you an idea of what I mean. (pending at the moment)
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I forgot to mention in my upload that the design of the DoubleTime part and the colors are completely inspired by a swap I received at Convention2004.
Ok....ready, set, stamp!

Yeah! I do this all the time, it's such an efficient way to stamp if you have a lot of cards to finish quick. I will try to work on something later today. Grace (dd) is 2 today and we are playing with her her Little Tikes Kitchen! Later we will be outside playing with her new Power Wheels Dora Jeep (go Grace, go!)

here it is!
I actually started on mine last night!! I am trying desperately to finish all my Christmas cards, so last night I sat down to do some, and this is what I came up with. I actually made 6 more this morning. Some of the paper was stamped more than other parts, so the cards don't have the same amount going on. I am going to do more tonight too!! I always stamp this way when I am stamping "in bulk".
This was a great challenge!

I used an old set that a past SU! Demo had loaned me. I'd been dying to use it and this challenge was perfect for it!

Here are mine. I really like this challenge! I didn't think I'd have time to do it. I have company coming for TEN days - yikes- and need to prepare for them. I just couldn't resist...plus I needed a sympathy card.

Quadruple Take?
Thank you for the challenge, Beth! It was fun, but I'm not very good at randomly stamping in a "balanced" way. I really wanted to try the little useable note cards -- Geeta's JuneVSN Challenge -- I was too exhausted to tackle it on Saturday night! This challenge was the perfect opportunity!
My Double Take!

I actually made these on Sunday before Beth posted this challenge. I love to make cards with this technique, especially if I'm making a set for someone as a gift, or just need to make a lot of cards quickly.
