Default Cracked Glass

You can do a search like I did and find how to do techniques and if you search the gallery, you can get pictures too. Use the blue and white bar and find search and click on it. Type in what you are searching for and it will take you to lots of postings where that is the topic.

Default HELP!

I was able to make the cracked glass but the edges of the paper and especially the corners all want to curl up on me! I've tried glueing it down and weighting it with tons of books...but sigh, it just doesn't look that elegant! I think my EP is not on very even...any suggestions for a nice flat finished result?

Thank you!!

Default

I usually use about 4 (or 5) layers of UTEE. And I actually use versamark between each layer - I can't move fast enough to get the UTEE on the hot piece fast enough to stick. Doing this allows me to focus my versamark on the outside edges to get a little more even coating.

Then when I put the piece in the freezer it curls up tremendously. I just crack it to straighten in out - a few bends east-west, and a few north-south, KWIM???

Here's are a couple samples from my gallery.

Thumbs up

Thank you! Thank you! Those are the results I'm looking for! I was only using 2 layers, maybe 3 and not using versamark in between. I'm sure that'll make a big difference.

PS Beautiful cards! I didn't see them the first time around! It's amazing how many great cards you can miss, only to stumble across them later. :o)
