I got my dzyntec ink storage caddies in the mail last night! Of course the UPS man drops them off as dh and I are leaving to go on a date!!! I got one out and put stuff in it and then we left. So I am up this morning getting them all nice and neat. Perfect timing, I'll get it all organized before the new stuff comes Monday! Yipee!! I'll have pictures of it up soon. These are so awesome. I got the 10 for $90 and the turntable. Right now I have 7 of the units unpacked, but I will probably use 8 of them. Ok, off to set them up and then I'll post a pic!
Please let us know how they work with the turntable. I went out to their website the other day and drooled over these... I am still in the debating process! I am interested to know how they fit on the turntable. I couldn't tell from the pics how the caddies were secured to it and I haven't bothered to email them yet! Thanks again.

They are not secured on the turntable. The turntable is an acrylic square on a white lazy susan style spinner. Once you have inks and stuff in your caddy's, you can spin it pretty fast and it they don't come off or move. I'd think you could adhere them somehow if it was an issue though.
Okay, here are the super awesome pics. I have only 7 of them out right now. I am going to have all the classic on the turntable and then on the wall the first is for nuetrals, the second is for craft and the third is other pads (stazon, versamark, briliance, spectrum).
Those are so cool!!!!! They are not expensive either.!! I just ordered 10. I know I can't use them all, Not yet. But I think Julie Brooks needs one. And I didn't get her any thing for her birthday. Don't you think she would love it.!!!!
I hope they get here soon. !!!!
I need some organization....
This little habit wasn't supposed to get this big.
I love love them! They'll be even fuller when I put the markers in the drawers and when I get the craft pads I ordered! I am starting that collection and put 4 on my first order! So fun!
OH MY GOSH!!! She'd love it! They are supposed to be $30 EACH and with that special they are only $9!!!! What a steal! They are heavy to ship, but even after shipping (and the turntable too) they came to $13 each.

I got mine in a week. THey email you a confirmation on the purchase and then nothing .....then one day they just showed up. Nothing like suspense!! They ship UPS.

Thank YOU.....I'm ordering the set of 10 with next weeks paycheck....LOL
Wow those are really neat...your craft space is soooooo "clean".
I'm definitely going to have to check these folks out. I have the wooden caddy on the lazy susan that holds 48 pads, markers, reinkers, wheels, etc and love it.

Ha! It's all an illusion, the cleanliness that is! I did a sweep of the place before I put them in and took pics. THe room is pretty messy actually! There are some days that MamaK and I will put away 10 sets each and there are still piles of sets everywhere!!
OMG! I love it! I am going to order me some, but can't decide how many. I don't need 10, I only want 5, so if anyone wants to go in with me and is willing to pay for the extra shipping to send them to you if you don't live in the DFW area then send me an email or PM. I am leaving today to go to Paris France for 5 weeks, but will order them and they will be there when I get home. Anyone know how long the sale is for? I do have internet access while I'm gone, but won't be able to check it until Saturday.

I don't know the sale dates for sure, only that they are moving to a new facility in the fall and wanted to clear some inventory before then. They said "while supplies last" on the website.
I looked at their web site and was concerned about the sizes of the stamps they say it holds ...it appears that that have pictured SU pads, but SU pads measure 3 3/4 by 4 1/2. The ads says: "There are 12 individual shelves to hold your ink pads. the shelves fit ink pads up to 3 " x 4"

Do the doors close with our pads?
I don't know dimensions. I only know I have all my SU pads in there with the doors closed and they are awesome. The only pads I have that don't fit are the spectrum and the color box individual chalk ink full size pads. The Spectrum fit in, but hand out over the edge as they are too long. I am taking the doors off one unit for sure for those. The color box inks are too tall to fit. Everything else I have fits great.
I think you should get a commission...I just ordered 10, too!
I wish!!! They really are a great deal and they look fabulous! I am so happy I finally took the plunge and bought something. I did love the little zippered thing I had, but I had just outgrown it! It would not hold more than 48 colors. It is so much neater in my stamp area without all those extra pads spilling over!!

Ok, I'll play devil's advocate...Don't get me wrong, this looks awesome, but how much better is it than the color caddy? I already have the color caddy and either need to get another one or go another route for my expanding selection of ink pads. I can already tell that the doors would be nice, but what else? Room for marker storage? What else? It looks a bit more bulky than the color caddy. Not trying to start anything, just trying to be an informed customer!
EDIT: I forgot to add that the price seems to be roughly the same for four containers and the turntable ($60) and you get comission on the SU! one. Just something to consider...
Ok I don't know where I saw this but I heard about it in when I was searching through the gallery one day. Someone had posted a picture of theirs. If I remember correctly she had heated the handle with her heat gun and popped them off!! Wish I knew where I saw that!
For me there were two HUGE things that won me over vs the color caddy.
1. the drawers at the bottom for markers....the color caddy doesn't have marker storage.
2. the extra units for more pads. I love the idea of the color caddy, but wanted to be able to store all the excess pads I have (versamark, brilliance, craft, etc.) It was the deal breaker on the color caddy for me. I HAD to have a place for the Nuetrals at the very least.
Also, I think it may be pretty comprable in size. A bit wider, but it turns way way more easily.
I was holding out on these until I saw the caddy in the catty this year to make sure they weren't expanding it. When they didn't, I took the plunge. I really really researched this for the past 6 mos or so at the very least. I like the compact-ness of these and there are more drawers than I know what to do with right now! So many storage options for more knick knacks. I can't wait to really fill them up.
I am not against the SU caddy, I just wish it held more than 48 pads because even if you just had the nuetrals you are short 6 spots. Plus I have a handful of craft pads too.
Oh, and I am a demo and I am totally NOT offended by the comparisons! I think everyone has to get what works for them. There was another long thread earlier about different options and I think it is totally based on you space, your inks, etc on what will work for you!

Thanks, Emily! I love the drawers too. My extra pads are stuffed here and there and it sure would be nice to have them all together. Thanks for your input (and NOT taking offense)! I appreciate that you shared the results of your extensive research. This looks like a fabulous product. I'm about to move into a new house and get to re-design all of my stamping area so I'm trying to consider all of my options. Thanks again!!!
No problem! I honestly was hoping the color caddy would be expanded this year. I figured it wouldn't be since they just came out with it, but I hoped! I do love having all of it in one place and I will see how it goes when we actually use it during stamping this afternoon. Of course MamaK is coming over to help test drive it.
I have to thank Jami for originally posting the thread about ink storage and all the ladies who posted their experiences and different websites. It was so helpful and made me finally decide what I wanted to do.
