I'm trying out some of the awesome samples I'm seeing in the Gallery, but I'm trying to change the colors around. As I'm looking through my colors, I find Taken With Teal - I don't know that I've ever used that color! What colors would go well with TWT? And Bordering Blue? I've used that only with Not Quite Navy - I'm just not a fan of Bordering Blue. Ideas?
I'm trying to challenge myself to use some colors that aren't my latest "go to" colors. I've been using a lot of Apricot and Celery and Pumpkin and want to try some different colors.
I have SU's new Color Coach (AWESOME!) and it's revised to show TONS of color combos. Anyway, I am looking and they have Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal (these coordinate with TWT), and Cameo Coral (Complementary Color) teamed up with Taken With Teal. It looks GREAT!
And with Bordering Blue, they have More Mustard, Sage Shadow, Not Quite Navy (Coordinating Colors), and So Saffron (Complimentary Color).
HTH!

Jenn, thanks for pointing me to that gorgeous card of yours! I'll be trying this combo - and I think I feel an order coming on to get the Hula stamp set!! <g>
why hasn't anyone been raving about the Linograph background stamp? I've heard about every other background stamp...this one is gorgeous and, of course, MamaK did an excellent job showing it off! She did such a good job that it's now on my wish list...
I use bordering blue all the time. Does it help if you think of it as a grey instead of a blue? Just off the top of my head, I remember using it successfully with mellow moss and vanilla. But it's a versatile colour that plays well with others.

Excellent ideas here ladies! I am so totally color challenged! I cannot wait to get all of the new colors and that color coach! I need a color workout!
