It's time to DUMPSTER DIVE! You must create a card with something from your trash can. You can use your trashy item on your card or use it to create your card. Be sure to let us now what treasure you were able to use and what trash can you salvaged it from. Ready, Set, Dumpster Dive!
I'll be here to answer any questions or to help with suggestions if you're really stumped.
My *trash* piece is from my garbage here in my office. Bought two weeks ago at American Science & Surplus here in Geneva, IL, it is a box that military ship flashcards came in. It was the first "usable" thing that I came across (scan below.) Wish me luck!! ~ K

It looked much cuter in my head than when I got to paper! The striped paper is supposed to look like wallpaper, and the ribbon like a chair rail. Hard to do in a time crunch!

okay i did it! I wasn't as grossed as others.... but maybe having 2 small kids gets you past that!! :-)
I will upload once I get the kids to bed (hubby is out playing cards - how convenient is that??!!??? :-)
I really did check all the trash cans in the house (except for my son's bathroom - I don't EVEN want to go there!), and decided to use the trash from the stamp room that never seems to get emptied. Luckily I opened several new packs of cardstock today in preparation for tonight, so I used the plastic wrap to create the background for my card! Here it is:

Ok,, done with this one,, I went to my trash can here by my computer,,, I found two things I might use, one was a Hershey wrapper and the second was the pink cord from a gift sack. I used the pink cord. Now I am back to waiting for glue to dry before I can scan.. Well. so far I am on a pastel roll,,,

I just emptied all of the garbages in my house except for my stamproom (that seems to be the only one that never gets emptied) so I guess I'll have to dig through that one.
Man I am way behind, I haven't done any of the challenges yet.

This is my first VSN, I am excited about trying these challanges, as long as I don't burn dinner all will be fine. I used the clear plastic window from my shredded cheese pkg used for making chicken enchiladas for dinner. First shaker card ever, it took some time, but I like it.
Here's my trashy card. Unfortunately, I had just dumped the dinner scraps in the trash can so my choices were limited. I did manage to find a dry piece of cardboard. (All the other cans were emptied earlier today.)

Wow, am I glad I looked thru my office trash can for this challenge, because I found 2 stamp pads and a mono that the stupid cat had apparently knocked off my desk into the trash can!
