Thanks for posting early MamaK. I am helping a friend who owns a Day Spa on Tuesday. They are hiring a new manicurist and massage person and she wants me to secret shop them. So I�ll have to get a mani & pedi along with a massage tomorrow, for FREE!!! Poor me.
I'm feeling at such a loss because I have paper but no ink yet in the new colors! Wah!!!! I won't be able to order them until the end of the month either. :(

And for the 6th or 7th week in a row...some of us can't play. I don't mean to be a spoil sport, but just because there are new colors doesn't mean you have to limit the challenges to using only those colors or including a new one every week. Some of us don't have the resources others do and haven't gotten any of the new ones yet and I know I'm not the only one who has felt left out since the beginning of July. Could we maybe (PLEASE??) have one next week using only OLD colors?

It's not exactly the same, but how would the old Egglplant Envy, Mellow Moss & Blush Blossom look. Just a thought for those of you that haven't had a chance to get the new colors.
I know how wordtrix feels! I've been wanting to join in for weeks but haven't had the new colors either, (not that I have ALL the old colors either!); I just keep watching from the sidelines! :(

Here is my entry. I was excited about this color combination this morning when I read the challenge and couldn't wait to get home from work to try it. It turneed out to be harder for me than I thought to put something together. I really like the challenges though as they continually make me think outside the box.
Well, I didn't quite have all of those colors, so I improvised. My celery and eggplant are papers that I found as close as possible, the Apricot Appeal ink is the only thing on this card that is true to the color challenge. Still, it's fun and one day I will have those other lovely colors, too!!!
The inspiration card by NewDemo is gorgeous, and it shows off this color scheme dynamically! But here is mine . . .
I cheated a little and didn't come up with a more original layout. But the challenge was still lots of fun. I love the results. These colors look great together!
