AugVSNA 6:00 " Mix it Up "
For those of you who got started on the Bonus challenge I hope it warmed you up, got your thinking caps working and your stamping hands ready to goso lets get this party started!!!! Here is your first challenge of the night and remember to put AugVSNA in your keyword section of your upload. Its time to Mix It Up I would like you to take your word/ phrase/verse stamps and make a card front story/poem using parts of the verse from all the different stamps you own. You might only use one word from each stamp or maybe need four words to create part of your story or poem. If you would like you can use stamped images to match your storyline. Hopefully my attachment is here and you can see one I did as an example. I used different colors of ink each time I switched stamps so you can see how many times I used different words from many sets. Its kind of like creating a ransom note with all the different fonts and dont be afraid to use any Alphabet sets you have if you get stuck and need just that perfect word.
Here are some tips on inking up select words you want to use to complete this challenge:
1) Cover all words you dont want to use with tape, ink up the stamp, then remove the tape before stamping
2) Using markers ink up the words you need, be sure to huff on the stamp before stamping ( after inking bring the stamp close to your mouth and give a healthy exhale on it to re-moisten)
3) stamp your entire verse on light cardstock and cut out the words you need for your story
Dont worry about straight lines and finish your card any way you like. Ill be here to answer any questions, have fun, and see you in 45 minutes with your AugVSNA creation

And we're off!
OK Here I go!
Ok... it is now 7:18 pm. I have fed hubby and kids pizza. I am loaded up on soda and I have time to upload my first challenge of the evening. I think I kindof cheated... I used "word by word"! Fun challenge.

How stinkin' fun! I am not sure I have enough sentiment/word stamps to be able to come up with much (I'm still gonna try), but I cannot wait to read some of these!

YIKES
Wow JOni, figures you'd come up with a "ransom" theme!!! Question, do we HAVE to stamp them on light card stock then cut them out or can we just do it all on one card? Kathy

Just use as many sets as you need to, to make the "story". Not all of them.
Good luck!
