Default ATC6 Challenge

This week's challenge is to make a 'shaker' Artist Trading Card. This will be a first for me and may take a little time. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with the challenge of the small space to work with.

Please put 'ATC6' in the keywords section when you post your card.

If you are new to the ATC Challenge, here is a link to the original ATC Challenge thread. It may (or may not ) provide a little more information about these challenges. Have fun and let's see what's shakin'!

I've got my Shaker ATC posted:

I had a lot of fun with this and if I have time, I'm going to try some other ideas. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's shakers.

Shakers are fun! You just need to allow enough space for the beads to move, which you do by applying foam tape to the back of your cut out. Acetate or transparency goes over the cutout, then foam, then beads, then backing. The most important thing to remember is that beads have a mind of their own This isn't a project to tackle with kids bumping your elbows!

No, the "shakey things" don't have to be beads.

Have fun! I can't wait to see where your inuksuk shows up.

The 'shakees' can be confetti, punchies, bird seed, even popcorn if you layer the foam high enough. Anything that can fit in between is fair game!

What a great idea! Maybe I should have mixed some bird seed in the with sleet for my little cold cardinal.

Default I have posted my shaker cards.

I am waiting for them to be approved.
I don't really care for the one but I was not going to chuck my inuksuk after working an hour or so on it.
For some reason my scanner did it in black and white.
My other one is just funny and I had to do it...LOL

Smile ATC6 Shaker Challenge

I posted my ATC6 card to my gallery. Here it is:

I thought it was very challenging to make a shaker small enough--I've done them before but never this small. I love doing these miniatures of cards!

Finally got mine done. My first ever shaker card! I made a big ole mess! You weren't kidding, Linda, about the beads having a mind of their own.

Trying to upload but running into a little trouble. I'll post the link when I get it up there.

Update: Here's the link!
