Since I will be leaving the lovely state of Texas in roughly 3 months, I wanted to see if any of you would like to get together before I leave. I love going to Recollections so I thought we might meet up there. It is an awesome scrapbooking store, although you can make cards or whatever you would like to do while you are there. So come on out and hang with me!

Time: 6pm-12am (but you are welcome to come as early as 10 am - when the store opens)
Cost: $10, this covers your space (and they have AWESOME space there) and they cater dinner. (I have had Jason's Deli, Olive Garden and Chili's the times I have been.)
You must call to reserve your space. It is limited to 36 people and it WILL fill up! You may cancel up to 24 hrs in advance, but you will not get a refund, you may only move to a different class or crop.

That would be way cool! We are going back to the military. Most likely we will head to Fort Gordon, GA for some school there. We can't stay here, there's no base.
Nah, you are too dang cute to smell funny! Have you pmed Rachel about this? I probably won't be able to get up there but you know she would love to do it if she can! Sounds like so much fun.

Augusta is beautiful! All those trees and it has actual seasons...4 of them! Not hot and hotter. We've been there twice for school. Everytime he needs Signal training that is where we have to go.

That is what I miss the most about GA the seasons!!! IT's beautiful. Tress gallore! THere is also nothing like the southern hopitality and SWEET tea!!
you know matthew loves his sugar. Seriously, he makes sun tea and adds a cup of sugar to the pitcher.
He would love it at my house. My tea has 1 cup of sugar! YUM! The trick to getting it real good and sweet is it to add the sugar after you boil the water and tea bags, then put it in the fridge over night! It's soupy sweet the next day!
Brian will ask for sweet tea when we go out also and they look at him like he is crazy! Nothin is sweet in Odessa!
Hi! I'm too far away to join you, although I wish I could. My hometown is Tyler, TX and I miss it! Next time I'm in Arlington, I'll have to look up Recollections. It sounds great!
I noticed several of you are military. Is there a forum here for us military types? Just curious.

As far as I know, there is not a military forum. If you have interest in one, post in the site suggestions forum. THey are definitely not adverse to creating one if there is interest in it! I am not officially back to being a military wife, but on my way!

Amen, Julie! You know you're in the south when you order tea at a restaurant and the waitress doesn't even ask "sweetened or unsweetened"! They even know you mean with ice and not in a mug! :p
Emily, there definitely has to be a south GA meetup once you get here!
