Here is my first Christmas challenge. I was so excited I did not wait for rules. I did ten today. Some were with the puppy and some with the elf. The little box folds sideways for mailing. The puppy looks like our little Tucker. He's so cute.

Count me in
Hey,
This sounds like a really good idea to me. I'm going to have a bunch of cards to make, and starting in September, I really won't have much time, but that's what happens when you'll be working a full time job, a part time one, and still managing to take a couple courses!!! So please, count me in.

Did 15 for July!!....and matching envelopes! Boy this feels good. Joined late...in June, but now have 30 cards and envelopes done! Will post when I return from Convention next week!
Ladies who would like to join. Sorry it has taken so long fo rme to get back to you. I thought I was subscribed to this thread, but I wasn't - oops! Anyway - the explanation of this challenge can be found here:
Please read the OP there and post on that thread if you'd like to be added to the list or if you have any questions. Shelley and I would love to have you join!
Also please read post #266 on page 7 of that thread (regarding prizes).
This thread and that one can be easily accessed from the home page by clicking on Christmas Card Challenge.
Oh - and also - you won't be able to make changes to the spreadsheet - only Shelley can do that. You just post to this thread when your cards for a month are complete (and a link to them if possible) and she will update every couple of weeks or so.
I would like to join but I don't have any Christmas sets yet (I didn't start stamping till March). Can I just make up for July when my sets get here? I also have a question for you ladies -- I notice that several of you do several different cards.......does anyone do one card for them all?
I would like to join. I am going to be starting on my cards shortly. Just ordered some silver paper to use for matting. I am thinking about just buying the night of navy cards though... Might be easier... but is that cheating? Kimm

You know each month I say I'm going to get them done early, and each month I'm in here at the end of the month having just finished, lol. It's a darned good thing I'm not waiting until near Christmas to do these!
I just finished July's cards! They are with the JOY Penguins. They are a kinda CASE off a card done with Wreath of Roses in an older catty. Instead of rose stems I used candy canes for the white background, then I added red vellum and stamped the penguins in black on that. Add some wonderful ribbon, mount to red layer and voila.
I haven't charged my camera to take pics and I know I'm behind. Plan on doing that in the next couple of weeks, then gathering at least one of each months' cards and the goodies for the prize baskets (I haven't forgotten, just keep getting sidetracked, lol).
OH! I can't open the spreadsheet. I do have excel, but it's not compatible, apparently. I know I've made the goal of at least 10 cards each month, so if you could just make sure for me since I can't see. Thanks Shelley.
I posted in the other forum before I saw this one...so I will post in both places.
I would like to join. I need to make about 100 cards so I will try to do 20 a month. Each month will be different and I may even do more different than that...I will just see.
This is a great idea. I was excited to find this. Thanks!!

No such thing as cheating! Do them any way you like! I will add your name to the list in the other thread. Then Shelly will add you to the spreadsheet also.

I think most people in this challenge are doing 10-20 of each design, butyou are welcome to do all one design if you like. No rules with regard to that! I will add you to the list!
I think this is the earliest I've gotten my 10 cards done! This was case'd from Susiespotless with a little variation. I tried my new WC pencils (first shot---LOVE them!) by coloring directly on the stamp & misting. WOWzers! So easy & the look is so elegant!
We now have 116 people signed up in total (see list in OP on the other thread). Shelley is in the middle of a move right now, so it might be a little while before the spreadsheet is updated. Please continue to report when you finish cards.
I am collecting prizes for the drawings. PM me if you need my addy for that. Thanks!
August - This card was one I made for the June VSN, but after looking at it again the next morning, I really liked it so I mass produced 10 of them. It's funny how a mad rush to make a card in 30 minutes turns out to be a favorite!
Well, I finally completed my cards for May. I finished all my Christmas ones and am working on various other greeting cards. I'll upload the card later tonight. I'm actually using it for a swap. I was very pleased with the way it turned out.
On to June and July. I still have 1 1/2 weeks to finish August.

I sooo need to do this! This is a brilliant idea - I usually end up trying to put together 60+ cards in one week to have them out by Thanksgiving. Even had my kids glueing/tying everything together in the van on the way to an out of town basketball game! (did that twice-now that's desperate!)
Maybe this is my ticket to holiday sanity!
Well, I have been away from this thread for a while. I finally have gotten around to doing this again. Here is one for July and I'll try to get caught up with the others. This was soooooo easy. The second one I just added is what I am doing for August and it was easy also.
I finished my September cards already, and I didn't sign up to start until Sept. This is a first for me. I decided to use my sketch challenge card becauseb I liked it so much, and to use up the ribbon I had. Took only 1.5 hrs to do the 10 plus envelopes. Now to start my Christmas present calendars.
